Mixing in Eastside Sound NYC 02/09/2011
Three very intense days with Marc Urselli downtown in Eastside studio in the big Apple. Ears were bleeding, but it's sounding so so good. And we love New York City! Dodged Hurricane Irene by 24 hours, the sun was shining but we were too busy in the black cave. Big thanks to Eastside and Marc.

News just in.. Directors Ronan and Rob Burke have asked to feature Preachers Son's recent single This Time of Life on their new television show "The Importance of Being Whatever". Commissioned by RTÉ Young Peoples Programming, and produced by Accomplice Television, the new Irish production ‘The Importance of Being Whatever’ updates Oscar Wilde’s classic play ‘The Importance of Being Earnest’ into a modern serialised drama. We're excited to be included in the series and look forward to watching it on TV, it airs Winter 2011.

After the intense five day recording period in Grouse Lodge studios in June, mixing has commenced. Home from a gruelling European tour with Lou Reed, Marc Urselli is back in New York City and has started working on the mixes of the new recorded material, roughs coming through ... it's exciting!

Preachers Son Release Single This Time of Life from Album Love Life & Limb and Premiere it's Music Video Friday May 6th at The Sugar Club, Dublin.
Preachers Son will mark the occasion by playing The League of Legendary Bastards at The Sugar Club Friday May 6th.
The night will promise to be a gloriously unforgettable theatrical event, with a sensational line-up of international and home grown performers, musicians and dancers.
The music video of This Time of Life will also be screened publicly for the first time May 6th during The League of Legendary Bastards at the Sugar Club.
Directed by Bafta award winning Neasa Hardiman, art direction by IFTA award winning Anna Rackard joined by director of photography Daniel Balteanu, Gaffer Mark Kelly, edited by Nathan Nugent, post production at screencene.ie, the video was shot at Dublin's Hello Operator studio with an eclectic cast of 30 performers spanning the ages of one to seventy eight years of age.
